Welcome to Seashore Day Camp. If you want your child to have the most fun this summer and get the same athletic start as alumni Donald Brown of the Indianapolis Colts, Seashore is the place to be.

For 84 years, Seashore has given thousands of children extraordinary camp experiences they remember the rest of their lives.

Campers get to do everything they like best and go to lots of fun places. Located a block from the beach, Seashore offers ocean breezes, swim instruction second to none, water sports that rival Caribbean vacations and the most exciting variety of activities, sports camps, trips and special events you'll find anywhere.

Our schedule features banana boating, sailing, water skiing, snorkeling, kayaking, skim boarding, surfing, tubing down the Delaware for a floating BBQ at Adventure Island, swimming, 4-Way Trampoline Thing, rock wall, Rock It, Aqua Olympics Obstacle Course, Iceberg Pool Slide, golf, gymnastics, karate, jewelry making in our bead room, string thing, ceramics, Zumba, cooking, slurpies at the Tiki Hut, Jell-O Tug Of War, reggae bands, DJ dance parties, carnivals, Mets game, skate parks, water parks, amusement parks, speedboat rides around the Statue of Liberty and more.

For those who prefer the arts, there is a Theater Camp, which gives aspiring actors their start “On Broadway ”. Participants will not only develop the acting, poise and stage presence to put on a full-scale production. To learn more about acting, they will go to Broadway matinees and take workshops with stars in the shows they see.

This summer, we will also introduce a movie making camp taught by Kids TV International, an organization known for helping children produce work that has aired on HBO and at the Cannes For Kids Student-Made Video Festival.

And to give children ages 10-12 an athletic edge, Seashore has expanded its surf and sports camp menu to 13 different offerings including skim boarding, water skiing and sailing with specialized training from professional and collegiate athletes and coaches.

For parents convenience, there is free door-to-door transportation, free childcare from 7:30 to 9a.m. for those who have to be at work early and extended care until 6p.m.

A New Theater Camp
Which Gives Aspiring Actors
Their Start "ON BROADWAY"

This summer, Seashore will give children interested in performing arts a chance to become stars in a specialty camp called "On Broadway" in our new theater, which happens to be on Broadway in Long Branch. Instead of participating in typical camp activities, boys and girls will take acting, singing, dance, set design, costuming, make up and directing lessons, and will cool off daily with instructional swim (a priority for all Seashore campers). Each week will be spent rehearsing for a full-scale production, which will be performed for the entire camp at the end of the season. On Wednesdays, participants will learn more about acting by going to Broadway plays like In The Heights, Billy Elliott, Shrek The Musical & Jersey Boys, and Lion King, and take workshops in NYC rehearsal studios with stars in the shows they see!

A Surf Camp That Covers Everything
From The Basics To Advanced Maneuvers

We are the only day camp that offers its own surf camp led by a top pro who has been teaching for surfing for 30 years and who has surfed all over the world. Under his direction, boys and girls (who demonstrate swimming proficiency) will learn everything from how to paddle out and stand up to advanced maneuvers like getting inside breaking waves.

We also offer a wide variety of specialty camps designed to provide the same kind of experience as top college sports camps with more individualized instruction and without parents having to take off work to drive back and forth. This summer, the surf & turf menu will include:

Half-Day Camp For 3 & 4 Year-Olds

We also offer a morning session for children who will be three by June 1 (they must be toilet trained).
The program includes:

Half-day campers board our buses to go home at 12 noon or we can drop them off at your beach club if you prefer.

The fun never stops, even if it rains. The alternate rain schedule includes:

Swim Team

In addition, we have an optional after camp swim team for those who want to compete. The team participates in the North Shore League, which includes the best age group swimmers in Monmouth County.

All camp sessions come with door-to-door transportation at no extra charge and free childcare from 7:30-9a.m. for those who need to be at work early and want to drop their children off on the way. We also offer extended care until 6p.m. for a minimal charge per hour.
